Homeless Hotline is a phone information and referral service for people who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness. Staff will be able to provide you with information about what services have vacancies in your area as well as other parts of Queensland. Please note vacancies are limited and it can be several days before something becomes available.
The best option is to call everyday to ensure when a vacancy becomes available you findout as soon as possible.
Salvation Army Still Waters
Still Waters is a female only accommodation services that also has 6 mother and child units available for women over the age of 18.
Intake:
* You will need to call the intake line on 7 055911 776 to complete an Intake.
* You will be required to discuss your current situation, physical and mental health needs as well as any substance use concerns.
The best option is to call everyday to ensure when a vacancy becomes available you findout as soon as possible.
Payment is based on a percentage of your Centrelink Payment.
Still Waters provide shared living areas and individual rooms.
You will also be allocated a support worker that can assist you with linking with appropriate support services such as mental health or department of housing.

Gold Coast Homelessness Service (Blair Athol & HHUB)
Gold Coast Homelessness Service provides accommodation and support services to families and single people across the Gold Coast. Gold Coast Homelessness Service is provided by UnitingCare.
Gold Coast Homelessness Service provides the following services: Emergency housing (Blair Athol & Bryant Place) for males above the age of 18Young people's assistance and referralsIntervention in times of crisis, counselling, and emotional supportThe GC Homelessness Hub provides practical aid and advocacy Gold Coast Homelessness Hub is a single point of referral for all accommodation support services on the Gold Coast. HHUB refers people to either crisis accommodation, rental accommodation, or subsidised rental accommodation. Clients in need can also get short-term case management help via the GC Homelessness Hub which is located at Blair Athol. Families Back on Track (FBOT)
Families Back on Track is funded by St.Vincent de Paul Society.
It is a Street to Home Program that offers transitional housing. Families Back on Track has 27 units (including 2 disability units) to actively combat homelessness in the South East Queensland area. T he service is offered to single parents on a three-monthly lease basis for up to twelve months only.
You must have a Department of Housing Application and must be referred by Department of Housing.
What are the advantages to using this service?Parenting programmes, self-improvement workshops, living skills, budgeting and household management support, and referrals to relevant health or community agencies are among the additional services provided on-site by Family Support Workers to address barriers and break the cycle of homelessness. Homework Club, school holiday activities, and mentoring are also provided to children.

Gold Coast Project for Homeless Youth

The Gold Coast Project for Homeless Youth offers several services including:
- Advice and Referral to young people
- Immediate Accommodation: Lawson & Bill Hoyer Houses, 16-18 years (14 beds)
- Transitional (Medium-Term) Housing: Bannister House & Jessica Dunne Lodge, 16-19 years (12 beds)
- Semi-Supported Transitional housing through our STAY Units for young people 16 to 25 years (8 beds)
- Mobile support service for young people 16-25 years at risk of homelessness. Mobile Support: 5537 6090 – Mon to Fri 7:00am to 7:00pm
- Support to secure and sustain a tenancy for for young people 16 to 25 years
- Transition to Tertiary Education (TTE) Program for 18 to 25 years
- The Tenancy and Support Team young people reach independence. The program offers a range of support services for young people to secure and sustain stable accommodation.
Queensland Department of Housing & Public Works, Housing Service Centre Robina
Provides support and referral to emergency accommodation for families and singles who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. They also offer support to apply and complete housing applications as well as a Bond Loan. Due to the strong demand for housing on the Gold Coast, it can take a long time before a suitable property becomes available. People are frequently advised to request housing in less densely populated locations where the wait time will be less.

Rent Connect
The Rent Connect service help you find and apply for rental accommodation.
This service can help if you're having trouble getting into the private rental market due to non-financial reasons, such as: limited rental history, a lack of skills, knowledge or understanding of how the private rental market works, a lack of documents required for private rental applications. Rent Connect offers a variety of resources and practical assistance, like as guidance and advocacy, to help you overcome these obstacles.

Supporting Those at Risk of Homelessness - STARH Project
The STARH (Supporting Those at Risk of Homelessness) is a early intervention service for people at risk of homelessness. The team will help with you to maintain stable housing, establish community connections, and improve life skills.
Services provided include case management planning and support for families and individuals, stabilise and sustain housing, provide tenancy advice and support, develop life skills and household management skills. When necessary, STARH can also direct you to additional support services.
STARH supports people with tenancy troubles, financial problems or debts, physical or emotional health challenges, loss or reduction in employment, relationship and/or family breakdown, and social isolation.

Gold Coast Family Accommodation Mobile Support Service
Service overview:
Gold Coast Family Accommodation Mobile Support Service is a service provided by St.Vincent de Paul. The program's goal is to help clients find long-term housing or keep their current tenancy in order to avoid becoming homeless. This is accomplished through assessment, case management, advocacy, and practical and emotional assistance. Furthermore, because we can refer to specialist services and community resources, our approach is holistic.
Service available for: Families where at least one member is over 18 years (no single people).
Department of Communities definition of families is a group of two or more people who usually live in the same household and who are related to each other biologically or through another family relationship such as fostering or adoption. This includes one or more carers accompanied by one or more children, or couples (same sex or heterosexual), multigenerational families and can also includepregnant women.
This service does not accept referrals to clients experiencing active domestic violence.
