Fairhaven is located in Eagle Heights / Mt. Tamborine
The site includes an 11 bed Drug Withdrawal Unit (detox) and 56 bed residential rehab centre.
Long term rehabilitation based on AA & NA and Salvation Army Bridge Program. You will be allocated a case worker to assist you in developing and implementing your recovery plan.
Group forms a large part of the Bridge Program.Long-term, residential program lasts up to eight to ten months.
Fairhaven is for both males and females aged 17 and over. 56 bed residential rehab centre. People reside in one of the 14, four bedroom houses
Facilities at Fairhaven include commercial kitchen and common dining room, outdoor BBQ area, in ground pool, games room, library, gym, meeting and function room, chapel, vegetable gardens and outdoor sitting areas.
Fees are usually deducted from one's Centrelink benefit (approx. 78%)

Intake
Admissions are facilitated at Southport office and transport to Fairhaven is provided.
Important Information
The waiting list to get into rehab can be several weeks.
To remain on the waiting list you need to call several times a week to keep in touch with the Intake Team.
No outstanding Legal Issues
Eligibility:
- Receive Centrelink benefits
- No outstanding court cases or criminal charges
- Nil acute mental illness currently
- Nil acute medical conditions
- No drug or Alcohol Use.
- No Stealing.
- No violence or threats of violence.
- No sexual activity between members.
- Be abstinent and detoxed as required
