Overview
THE SARA (Support Assessment Referral Advocacy)Program offers Domestic & Family Violence (DFV) service for women from a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) background on the Gold Coast.
All our services are confidential and free of cost.
Services
Bilingual workers provide: Telephone & in person counselling and support, as well as safety planning, advocacy, practical support including filling out the forms and information about your rights in Australia
SARA Program can also advocate and refer women to the other suitable services, including safe crisis accommodation, women’s groups, immigration advice and support service, Domestic Violence Court support, income support services, housing services, children’s and young people’s support services, migrant and refugee settlement services. SARA Program can also arrange female interpreters when needed.

Intake
Please call 0405 065 544 Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Eligibility: Identify as culturally and linguistically diverse. Be escaping physical, emotional and/or sexual family and domestic violence. If you are worried your case is not bad "enough" or are unsure in anyway please call the support staff on 0405 06 55 44 to discuss your situation and how they can support you. Every case is diiferent and staff will not judge you or your experiences.
