The Domestic Violence Prevention Centre Gold Coast offers several free services including, counselling, support, information and referral for women and their children who have or are experiencing domestic and family violence.
The service is confidential but a duty of care applies.
Services provide include:

- Security Upgrades
- Court Advocacy Program
- Children and Young People’s Service
- Women’s Groups
- Men’s Domestic Violence Education and Intervention Program
- Assessment Service Connect
- Training and Workshops
- Community Education
Intake Process
Please call 07 5532 9000 and discuss your situation with the caring staff who will identifying how to best respond to your needs. If no one answers please leave a voicemail.
Services are provide for free and are both over the phone or face to face.
A trained counsellor will discuss with you your experiences and work through experiences of abuse and violence as well as assistance with safety planning. Staff will be kind and non judgemental and will not discuss any matters that your are not comfortable to discuss. The support provided can be pivitol in healing from the impact of domestic and family violence. Staff can also provide referrals to a range of other services as required. Eligibility: Be escaping physical, emotional and/or sexual family and domestic violence Even control, is viewed as domestic violence. If you are worried your case is not bad "enough" or are unsure in anyway please call the support staff on 07 5532 9000 to discuss your situation and how they can support you. Every case is diiferent and staff will not judge you or your experiences.
