St Vincent de Paul Society - Drug and Alcohol Detox
Overview
This service offers a live-in detox centre for men over 18 years who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and who want help to stop using drugs and alcohol. This detox program is ideal for you if you have a low to moderate dependency, with the program usually taking around a week to complete.

- Assessment on arrival
- Medically supervised detox run by registered nurses
- Meals and accommodation
- Advice about further recovery options, such as our residential recovery centres (see below)
- Information about harm and relapse prevention
- Follow up call
Intake
This service accept direct applications or referrals by family, community services or health professionals.
There is no cost for our detox service.
